.DISCUSSION...Light offshore winds will continue today and
strengthen to moderate by Monday morning. These winds will bring
lower relative humidity, with higher terrain across the interior
expected to drop below 30% this afternoon. Conditions will be
slightly drier Monday and Tuesday. Moderate wind speed,
relatively mild temperatures, and higher than normal fuel moisture
will mitigate fire weather concerns during this offshore wind
event. Winds will weaken and shift back to a more humid onshore
breeze by Wednesday. A more active weather pattern arrives Friday,
bringing a chance for rain through the weekend.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
