...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

A fairly deep marine layer around 2000 feet will persist through
late this week with below normal temperatures across much of the
interior. Minimal fire weather concerns continue within the marine
layer with good overnight recoveries and poor to fair daytime
humidity retention expected. Light drizzle is possible along the
coastline during the early morning hours Wednesday and Thursday but
no accumulation is expected. Localized elevated fire weather
concerns continue for locations above the marine layer with poor
daytime humidity retention and poor to fair overnight recoveries.
Temperatures will warm Friday into the weekend, becoming seasonal
to slightly above normal, with overnight recoveries becoming poor
above 2000 feet. Winds remain onshore through the forecast period
with diurnally breezy winds expected across mountain gaps/passes,
ridgetops, and within valleys.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Temperatures continue to trend downward this week, but still
conditions remain warm and dry. Overnight RHs generally improve
through the week as the marine layer deepens. There is a 10% chance
for dry thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds over northern
Trinity County mountains this afternoon and evening. Southerly
winds will become breezy in Lake and Southern Mendocino County
Wednesday afternoon with a weak shortwave trough along the coast.
