...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

There is a 15-20% chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms
essentially across the Diablo Range from Alameda Co to interior
southern Monterey Co through the early afternoon. Chances for
interior North Bay areas are around 10% or less. Outside of this
threat, a gradual cooling trend starts today, with the marine layer
improving over the next couple of nights.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Poor RH recoveries are expected in the higher elevations. Today,
low RH values and triple digits are forecasted. In addition,
isolated dry thunderstorms are also possible in the interior,
primarily for Trinity County. Gusty and erratic outflow winds of
40 to 60 mph are possible with any storms that do form. Plume
domination at ongoing fires is possible. Regardless of the thunder
threat, instability will support a breezy day, which will elevate
fire risk as conditions remain hot and dry. Wednesday through the
end of the week gradual cooling is expected with highs mainly in the
80s by Saturday.
