Very hot temperatures are expected today. There is a 10-15% chance for dry thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds over northern Trinity County mountains this afternoon and evening. Offshore flow continues to bring dry air and gusty winds to the higher terrain tonight in Del Norte county. Most areas are expected to see some cooling Tuesday with additional cooling on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to remain in the 90s through much of the rest of the week and into the weekend.
