...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Seasonal to slightly below normal temperatures continue through the
weekend with the marine layer to deepen to around 2000 ft by
midweek. Excellent overnight humidity recoveries and poor to fair
daytime humidity retention continue for areas within the marine
layer. Localized elevated fire weather concerns continue for the
higher elevations above 2000 ft where poor to fair overnight
humidity recoveries and poor daytime humidity retention continue
through the end of this week. Persistent upper level troughing will
maintain light, onshore flow with diurnally breezy conditions
expected each afternoon/evening along the coast, mountain
gaps/passes, and along ridgetops.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Very hot temperatures are expected today. There is a 10-15% chance
for dry thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds over northern
Trinity County mountains this afternoon and evening. Offshore flow
continues to bring dry air and gusty winds to the higher terrain
tonight in Del Norte county. Most areas are expected to see some
cooling Tuesday with additional cooling on Wednesday. Temperatures
are expected to remain in the 90s through much of the rest of the
week and into the weekend. Winds are expected to generally be light
and terrain driven through much of the first half of the week.
