...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Dry weather with seasonable average temperatures today. Diurnal,
terrain driven winds forecasted with breezy afternoon winds again
today. A progressive low will bring a chance of showers and a
slight chance of thunderstorms late tonight through Sunday
morning, mainly for the coast and coastal range in Del Norte and
Humboldt counties. Otherwise, dry weather and some cooling of
interior high temps are expected on Sunday. Gusty northerly winds
are expected to developed over the ridges and coastal headlands
Sunday afternoon/evening, with an enhanced west-northwest winds
through channeled terrain in the interior. Drying and warming
trend returns on Monday and continue through mid week. Daytime RH
values in the mid 20`s to mid teens, with the driest day forecast
on Tuesday. Monday night into Tuesday, moderate to poor overnight
RH recoveries generally in the 30`s percent and breezy offshore
winds over the ridges across the eastern portion of the forecast
area.
