...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Strong northwest winds with gusts up to 30 mph will continue along
the coast, within the Salinas Valley, and at higher elevations
through Friday evening. Winds at the higher elevations will shift
to a gentle offshore flow Saturday through Monday, bringing warmer
and drier conditions. High fuel moistures from recent rainfall and
relatively light wind speeds will mitigate the fire weather
threats. Warmer and drier conditions continue through the middle of
next week.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Warmer and drier conditions will build this weekend with interior
valleys warming back into the mid 80s with RH below 30 percent.
Strengthening thermal belts will promote poor overnight RH recovery
at high elevations. Winds will be generally gentle except for some
gusty north wind near the coast and gusty northeast wind up to
25 mph along high terrain Sunday into Monday. Warm and dry weather
will persist through much of next week.
