...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Coastal stratus and fog with some inland intrusion has taken place
within a ~ 1,000 feet deep marine layer this morning. Otherwise
strong lower to mid level ridging persists leading to hot and dry
conditions across the region through the weekend and much of next
week. Daytime humidity retention will remain poor to very poor away
from the immediate coast, while overnight, thermal belts remain
active with poor humidity retention in the higher elevations.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Unseasonably hot and dry conditions will peak this weekend
increasing fire danger. Interior valley highs already in the upper
90s with daytime RH around 15 percent will continue into early next
week. Mid and upper elevation RH recovery will become increasingly
poor by Sunday with strengthening thermal belts. Winds will be weak
and terrain driven. Marine influence will be very shallow along the
coast. Conditions will slowly ease mid next week though there
remains essentially 0% chance of wetting rain within the forecast
period.
