.DISCUSSION...A weak to moderate atmospheric river will arrive
late Wednesday night and bring moderate rain and strong winds.
Gusts increase to 30 to 40 mph across the region Wednesday
afternoon. The strongest winds arrive Wednesday night into
Thursday morning as cold frontal passage occurs with gusts to 55
mph possible. Wind gusts have the potential to increase as we get
closer to this event. An inch of rain is expected at the burn site
between Wednesday to Thursday with the majority of the rain
falling overnight Wednesday into Thursday. There is a slight
(15-20%) chance of thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday
morning as the front moves through.
