Southerly surge will impact the coastal waters south of the Golden
Gate through tonight. The surge will bring an abrupt change in
wind direction to southerly. Additionally, the leading edge of the
surge will bring a marked drop in visibility with patchy dense
fog and low clouds. Mariners should be read for rapidly changing
conditions.
