.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge will prevail over the far S
waters today. A stationary front will linger off of the
mid-Atlantic coast today with a series of weak lows moving E
along the front. A slightly stronger low will move E and NE along
the front off of the Virginia Capes by this afternoon, continue
to move slowly E and NE over the central and N waters tonight
into Tue night, and then weaken to the E and NE of the area by
Wed. A low pressure trough will strengthen along the coast Wed
and Wed night, with a warm front developing and lifting NE from
the N waters Wed night. A cold front will approach from the W and
NW Thu, and then move offshore Thu night into Fri. The front will
weaken and then likely stall over the central or S waters Fri
night as high pressure builds over the mid-Atlantic states.
