...Please refer to Coastal Waters Forecasts (CWF) available
through NOAA Weather Radio and other means for detailed coastal
waters forecasts...

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure extending W into the S waters will
shift E today as a cold front approaches. The front, with weak
low pressure along it today over the N waters, will move over the
N and central waters today and tonight, reaching the far S waters
late today and tonight before stalling over or near the far S
waters from late tonight through Fri night. Behind the front,
high pressure builds S, resulting in counterflow to the Gulf
Stream and the potential for steeper, breaking waves. High
pressure then continues over the N and central waters into Fri
night, and then over the far N waters into Sat. To the S, low
pressure should form along the stalled cold front on Fri. The low
will deepen and expand as it moves N Fri night through Sun,
eventually being centered off of the mid-Atlantic coast Sun
night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts on this coastal
system, and begin to consider avoidance plans for the weekend.
