Southeast Gulf of America .SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure prevails across the eastern Gulf. Looking ahead, a cold front is forecast to reach the NE Gulf on Fri, then stall, and remain nearly stationary through Sun with little change in winds and seas. A weak high pressure regime will persist in the SE Gulf through the weekend into early next week. Under this weather pattern, mainly gentle to moderate winds and slight seas will prevail. .OVERNIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. .FRI...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. .FRI NIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less. Moderate to fresh NE winds and moderate seas are expected in the wake of the front by Sun.
