Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary will linger over the northern
Gulf through tonight before lifting NW of the area by Thu. Then,
high pressure will dominate the basin the remainder of the week
into the weekend. Under this weather pattern, mainly gentle to
moderate winds will prevail across the basin, except for
moderate to fresh NE to E winds over the S-central and SW Gulf
nightly as a diurnal trough develops over the Yucatan Peninsula
and moves westward at night. Slight to locally moderate seas are
forecast across the Gulf waters through the upcoming weekend.

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI...NE to E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.FRI NIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E to SE after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT...S to SW winds 5 kt, shifting to W in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...NE winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S to SW 5 kt
after midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extending from 31N71W to West
Palm Beach, Florida will lift N tonight, then will remain nearly
stationary along 30N and W of 75W through at least Fri. The
Atlantic ridge will dominate the remainder of the forecast area
producing a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow. Another weak
front may move into the NW waters by the end of the week into the
weekend.

.OVERNIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.THU...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 5 to 10 kt N of

.THU NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
