.SYNOPSIS...A trough along the entire California coast will
persist overnight as strong surface ridging remains anchored W of
the waters. The ridge will move a bit more to the E towards the
northern waters tonight, then remain in place just W of the
northern waters Thu through Sat. As a result, the trough will
persist along the N California Coast Thu through early Sat but
gradually weaken along the central and S California coastline
through that time. Thereafter a weak ridge will build across the
waters Sat and Sun, anchoring just NW of area waters on Monday.
