.SYNOPSIS...A trough along the entire California coast will
persist today as strong surface ridging remains anchored W of the
waters. A ridge will remain in place just W of the northern
waters today through Sat. As a result, the trough will continue
along the N California Coast through early Sat but gradually
weaken along the central and S California coastline through that
time. Thereafter a weak ridge will build across the waters Sat
and Sun, anchoring just NW of area waters on Monday.
