.Synopsis...A surface ridge just N of the area will weaken and
move S through the day as a front approaches then moves into far
NW waters tonight. The front will move across central waters
Wednesday, then stall and weaken near the Big Island Thursday, as
an associated low develops 600 to 700 nm N of Hawaii. A weak
ridge will develop over central waters Thursday, then lift to the
NE.

Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels-

.TODAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming variable less than
10 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 7 feet. Wave Detail:
Northwest 4 to 5 feet at 11 to 12 seconds and northeast 3 feet at
8 seconds. Isolated showers.
.TONIGHT...Variable winds less than 10 knots, becoming west 10 to
15 knots around Kauai and Oahu late. Seas 6 to 9 feet. Wave
Detail: Northwest 6 to 7 feet at 17 seconds and northeast 3 feet
at 8 seconds. Isolated showers, becoming scattered near Kauai
late.
.WEDNESDAY...West to northwest winds 15 to 25 knots Kauai and
Oahu waters. Southwest winds 10 to 20 knots Maui County and Big
Island waters. Seas 7 to 11 feet. Wave Detail: Northwest 7 to 10
feet at 14 seconds. Numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms
Kauai and Oahu waters. Isolated showers Maui County and Big
Island waters.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots, except
southwest winds 15 to 20 knots Big Island waters. Seas 8 to 12
feet. Detail: Northwest 6 to 8 feet at 13 seconds. Scattered
showers. Numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms Oahu and
Maui County waters and isolated showers Kauai and Big Island
waters.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet.
Numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms Maui County and Big
Island waters and isolated showers Kauai and Oahu waters.
.FRIDAY...Variable winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet.
Isolated showers, except scattered showers Big Island waters.
.SATURDAY...East northeast winds 10 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7
feet. Scattered showers.

.TONIGHT...Front moving across NW waters from 25N156W to 21N164W.
N of front, NW to W winds 15 to 25 kt. Remainder of NW half,
variable winds 5 to 15 kt. SE half, variable winds 10 kt. Seas 6
to 12 ft over NW waters and seas 4 to 6 feet over SE waters.
Isolated thunderstorms along front.
.WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Front moving across central
waters. NW of front, W to NW winds 15 to 25 kt. SE of front, SE
winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 8 to 12 ft over NW waters and seas 5 to
8  feet over SE waters. Isolated thunderstorms along front.
.THURSDAY...Front from 22N151W to 17N160W. NW of front, N to NW
winds 10 to 20 kt. SE half, variable winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 8 to
15 ft, highest NW half. Isolated thunderstorms far NE waters
along front.
.FRIDAY...Front dissipated. N of 22N, W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt.
S of 22N, NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 7 to 12 ft.
