.Synopsis...A high pressure ridge N of the Hawaiian Islands will
drift E in response to an approaching cold front far NW of the
state. A surface trough will form over the Hawaiian region by
Monday, ahead of the cold front. Gale-force winds are forecast NW
of the cold frontal boundary. Another high pressure ridge will
build N of the area mid week. E Isolated thunderstorms are
possible due to unstable conditions through much of the forecast
period.

Detail: East northeast 4 feet at 7 seconds and northwest 3 feet
at 13 seconds. Scattered showers.
.MONDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave
Detail: East 4 feet at 6 seconds, northeast 3 feet at 11 seconds
and northwest 3 feet at 12 seconds. Isolated showers.
.MONDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Wave
Detail: East 4 feet at 6 seconds, northeast 3 feet at 10 seconds
