Marine Weather HF Voice Broadcast for the Gulf of America

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Southerly winds dominate the western Gulf ahead of
the next cold front forecast to enter the NW part of the basin
tonight into Sun. Fresh to strong winds and moderate to locally
rough seas are expected in the wake of the front through Sun
evening. The front is forecast to reach from the Florida Big
Bend to Tampico, Mexico by Sun morning, and from south-central
Florida to the central Bay of Campeche by Mon morning, then SE
of the basin by Tue morning. High pressure will follow the front
supporting a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow by the middle
of the week.
