.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A warm front will lift N
across the waters today ahead of a stronger area of low pressure
moving E into northern New England tonight. A strong cold front
associated with this system will sweep E and SE over the area
tonight into Thu, followed by a secondary cold front or low
pressure trough Thu into Fri. High pressure to the S will build E
and extend a ridge across the waters Fri into Sat. Another trough
or weak cold front will cross the area Sat as the ridge shifts E
and weakens. Sat night, developing low pressure with a warm front
extending E from the low will move into the area from the SW. A
cold front will approach the coast from the W late Sat night. The
low and associated front will cross the waters Sun. The cold
front will largely stay S and SE of the area through Sun night as
the low moves NE. High pressure will build across the waters Sun
night behind the cold front.
