New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong high pressure will
persist just S of the waters today into tonight before shifting E
and SE of the area by Tue. A strong cold front will approach the
area from the W and NW Tue night, then move quickly SE across the
area on Wed. The front will clear S and E of the waters Wed night
into early Thu as strong high pressure builds E and SE toward the
area from the Great Lakes. High pressure will move SE over the
waters later Thu into Fri, before passing just E of the area Fri
night as a low pressure system organizes to the S of the waters.

3 to 4 ft. Areas of fog with vsby 1 nm or less.
