Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Strong high pressure will persist just S of the waters today into tonight before shifting E and SE of the area by Tue. A strong cold front will approach the area from the W and NW Tue night, then move quickly SE across the area on Wed. The front will clear S and E of the waters Wed night into early Thu as strong high pressure builds E and SE toward the area from the Great Lakes. High pressure will move SE over the waters later Thu into Fri, before passing just E of the area Fri night as a low pressure system organizes to the S of the waters.
