West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A high pressure ridge will
prevail over the far S waters tonight into Mon. A stationary
front will linger off of the mid-Atlantic coast tonight into Mon
with a series of weak lows moving E along the front. A slightly
stronger low will move E and NE along the front off of the
Virginia Capes by Mon afternoon, continue to move slowly E and NE
over the central and N waters Mon night into Tue night, and then
weaken to the E and NE of the area by Wed. A low pressure trough
will strengthen along the coast Wed and Wed night, with a warm
front developing and lifting NE from the N waters Wed night. A
cold front will approach from the W and NW Thu, and then move
offshore Thu night into Fri. The front will weaken and then
likely stall over the central or S waters Fri night as high
pressure builds over the mid-Atlantic states.
