West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure over the northern
waters this evening will move N and inland tonight while an
occluded front extending ESE from the low moves N across the
outer Mid- Atlantic waters and Georges Bank. The low will then
turn W and weaken Fri before reemerging over the Mid- Atlantic
waters Fri night. A new area of low pressure will develop SE of
Georges Bank on Fri, with a cold front forming and extending SW
through all of the offshore waters. The cold front will clear the
waters early Fri night, and the low will lift NE away from the
waters late Fri night. A high pressure ridge S of the waters Sat
will gradually build N into the southern waters Sat night through
Mon night. The ridge will shift E Tue and Tue night as a cold
front moves E across the northern and central waters.
