West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front extending NE from
the S Carolina coast early this morning will drift S today and
then stall over the inner part of the southern waters NE across
the outer central waters by tonight as low pressure develops
along the front. The low will move slowly NE along the front
tonight through Mon, passing E of the area by Mon night. The
front will linger over the southern waters Tue through Wed night
with weak lows occasionally forming along the frontal boundary.
High pressure will build S into the far N waters by tonight, then
prevail over the far northern portions into next week. A stronger
high will build N of the area Tue night into Wed night. All
mariners should use caution in or near any of the heavier
thunderstorms which will likely persist mainly near and S of the
cold front today through Sun.
