beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Weak low pressure well off Mid-
Atlantic coast this morning will track NE into tonight with a
trailing cold front becoming stationary later today and tonight.
Locally heavy thunderstorms are possible near the low and along
and S of the front over the waters today, with the heavier
thunderstorms likely producing gusty winds and rough seas, and
mariners should use caution. Otherwise, the front will lift back
N of the area as a warm front Sat and Sat night. A strong cold
front will slowly approach the coast from the W Sun into Sun
night, then move E across the waters later Sun night, Mon into
Mon night as a series of low pressure areas form along the front.
A stronger low pressure area will develop along the front E of
the waters by Tue, then drift S or SW while remaining E and then
SE of the area into Tue night. Behind the cold front, high
pressure will slowly build E off the coast Tue and Tue night.
