West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A high pressure ridge will
persist across the southern waters. A stationary front will
linger along the N and central mid- Atlantic coast today with
several weak low pressure areas moving E along the frontal
boundary. A slightly stronger low will move E and NE along the
front off of the Virginia Capes by this afternoon, and move
slowly E and NE over the central and N waters tonight into Tue
night, and then weaken to the E and NE of the area by Wed. A low
pressure trough will strengthen inland and over the N and central
N mid Atlantic coast Wed and Wed night, with a warm front
developing and lifting NE from the N waters Wed night. A cold
front will approach from the W and NW Thu, and then move offshore
Thu night into Fri. The cold front will weaken and then likely
stall over the central waters Fri night as weak high pressure
builds over the mid-Atlantic states and the high pressure over
southern areas persists.
