beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Rapidly intensifying low pressure
just NE of the waters early this morning, will move NE being over
Newfoundland, Canada by tonight. High pressure gradually builds E
behind the low today, being over the area tonight and early Wed
before moving E of the N and central waters during the day Wed. A
warm front will move NE over the N and central waters Wed,
followed quickly by a cold front that passes across the N and
central waters Wed night, and through the S waters Thu. High
pressure builds E again for Thu night, except for a trough or
weak low pressure along the SE coast continuing into early Fri.
Otherwise, high pressure will be over the area Fri, shifting E
late Fri and Fri night ahead of yet another cold front. This
front moves across the waters Sat. A secondary cold front moves
into the waters Sat night, becoming stationary over the central
waters, under weak high pressure.
