West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A broad, complex low pressure
center will lift NE of the area early today, pulling a strong
cold front E across the far outer waters. A secondary,
reinforcing cold front will then quickly push E to NE across the
region early today. A high pressure ridge will pass quickly E
across the area later today and tonight. Another strengthening
cold front will move across the N portions Wed, clearing E of the
waters Wed night, and followed by a series of low pressure
troughs or weak cold fronts Thu and Thu night. Another cold front
will approach from the N Fri, move into the N portions Fri night,
then continue S across the remainder of the waters Sat and Sat
night. High pressure will build over the S waters later today and
tonight, then shift E Wed. High pressure will rebuild across the
S waters Thu into Sat, then shift S and dissipate ahead of the
passing cold front. High pressure will build offshore across the
S waters following the cold front Sat night.
