.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure will move E across
the southern waters today and tonight. Meanwhile, strong NW
breezes will continue across the northern and central waters
today, diminishing tonight. A warm front will push offshore from
the Virginia Capes late tonight. Low pressure will move ENE along
the front across the central and northern waters Wed through Thu
night before finally moving well out into the N Atlantic Fri. A
cold front extending S from the low will clear E of the central
waters Thu, but become stationary across the far southern waters
through Thu night before dissipating Fri. A secondary trough
oriented W to E behind the front will develop across the central
waters Wed night, persist Thu, then dissipate Thu night. High
pressure will briefly build over the waters Fri. A cold front
will move S into the northern waters Fri night, then stall across
the central waters Sat and Sat night. An area of low pressure
will develop along the front near the Outer Banks late Sat, then
move E along the front Sat night.
