West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A high pressure ridge will
persist across the S waters today through Thu night. A warm front
across the far NE waters this evening will lift NE away from the
waters by early Thu morning. A low pressure trough will move E to
the mid- Atlantic coast by late Thu afternoon, followed by a cold
front moving offshore Thu night into Fri. The cold front will
stall as it moves SE over the central waters Fri, then dissipate
by Fri night as high pressure builds over the mid- Atlantic and
southern waters Sat and Sat night. High pressure will remain over
the southern waters into Mon night while a weak low pressure or
trough will move into the far northern portions later Sun before
weakening SE of the area Mon into Mon night.
