.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front moving slowly E
across the waters stall over the S waters tonight. Weak high
pressure will persist over the central and S waters today, then
expand from the central into the northern waters tonight, as weak
low pressure develops along the stationary front over the far
southern waters. The low will move E and NE over the far S waters
tonight into Sun night the high retreats N to the northern
waters. The low will move NE and pass E of the southern and
central waters later Sun night into Mon as the high retreats N to
the New England waters. A ridge associated with the high to the
N of the area will develop over the inner waters Mon night into
Tue night as the low moves off to the E and NE of the area. Weak
high pressure will cover most of the N and central waters Tue
night into Wed as a front to the S of the waters begins to return
N as a warm front. The front and a developing low pressure area
will lift N over the southern waters Wed night as the ridge
dissipates.
