West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A surface trough develops over
the N waters tonight behind a front that will stall over the S
waters. Low pressure will move E along the front overnight. The
trough diminishes over the N waters Sun as high pressure builds
in, while to the S, the low will continue to slowly move E along
the front, farther offshore. The low then slowly moves NE Sun
night and Mon, reaching the NE waters by early Tue. This low
moves well NE of the NE waters Tue night. The low will be
followed by a series of weak lows that develop along the
meandering front and also move NE through Wed. With high pressure
returning over the N waters by Wed, the front to the S should
start to move N as a warm front Wed night. The high over the N
waters shifts E on Thu. The front then moves slowly N over the
area Thu and Thu night attached to low pressure moving N along
and near the east coast.
