Outer waters from 150 nm to 250 nm offshore. Conditions given represent the highest within that period. Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. This product will be discontinued January 6.For more details see: https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf_2025/ scn_25-83_Updated_VOBRA_Discontinuation_aaa.pdf .SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A large low pressure system encompassing much of the E Pacific and across the Gulf of Alaska will force successive cold fronts across the area from NW to SE through about Tue night. Low pressure will approach the waters tonight and lift a warm front NE across the area later tonight. The low pressure will track NE into the waters tonight into Sun, and then be followed by a cold front Sun. High pressure will move quickly across the waters Sun and inland. Another warm front will move NE across the waters again Sun night and be followed by another stronger cold front moving across the waters Mon into Mon night. High pressure will move E over the waters early Tue then quickly inland Tue. Another warm front will move NE over the area Tue and be followed by a cold front that moves across the waters Wed into Wed night. This front is expected nearly stall across the southern waters and drift N as weak high pressure gradually builds across the N waters Wed and Wed night.
