.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A cold front will move E and SE
from the southern Califoria waters today as low pressure
redevelops over inland portions of central and northern
California. The low will move E and NE tonight as a low pressure
trough passes SE across the waters, and a strong cold front
approaches from the NW. The strong cold front will move SE over
the N and central waters Sun, and reach the S waters Sun night as
low pressure forms near the central California coast. The front
will slowly cross the S waters Mon into Mon night as the low
slides SE along the coast. The low will weaken near or over
southern California Tue as a high pressure ridge develops over
the outer portion of the N waters. The low will likely dissipate
Tue night as the ridge persists over the NW portion of the area.
The ridge will dissipate Wed as a warm front lifts NE over the
northern and central waters. The warm front will pass inland by
Wed night as a strong cold front moves SE over the region.
