height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A trough will persist along the
California coast today through Mon night while strong high
pressure remains stationary W of the waters. A cold front will
reach the NW waters Mon and slowly move through the waters before
dissipating Tue night. High pressure will build back into the
northern waters behind the front Tue into Tue night while a
strong high remains anchored W of the waters. High pressure will
continue to expand into central waters Wed into Wed night.
