height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A trough will persist along the
California coast tonight through Mon night while strong high
pressure remains stationary W of the waters. A weakening cold
front will move across the northern California waters Mon and
dissipate Mon night. A stronger cold front will move across the
northern waters Tue night and dissipate across the central
California waters Wed. High pressure will expand E across the
waters Wed through Fri night, while trough forms along the coast.
