height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A significant low pressure
system will continue to slide southward offshore this evening and
into tomorrow with an associated front moving through regional
waters overnight into early AM. Slightly agitated seas will
linger in southerly offshore waters Sat evening into Sun early AM
as the remnant low lingers. Meanwhile, ridging briefly builds
into northerly waters, slackening winds and seas. A cold front
will sweep waters Sun during the day, exiting the area by Mon AM.
Ridging and surface high pressure build through the area Tue as a
potent system approaches. A warm front will develop and surge
northward Wed with a strong cold front expected to approach the
region Wed PM.
