The pressure gradient between an expansive ridge
across much of the Atlantic and relatively lower pressures over
Central America is maintaining gentle to moderate winds across the
area of interest. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible
this afternoon and tonight as a tropical wave interacts with an upper
level trough.
