.DISCUSSION...
A general cooling trend is expected across the North Slope, with
highs in the 50s and 60s Tuesday mostly falling into the 50s from
Wednesday through Friday. Min RH values will also remain above 50
percent in most areas during this time frame. Generally showery
weather is likely across the North Slope through at least
Wednesday, with scattered to numerous showers likely. Isolated
thunderstorms will also be possible over the Eastern Brooks Range
this afternoon, with locally heavy rain and gusty winds possible
with any that form. Winds will generally blow from the west to
southwest, turning to the north while weakening Wednesday evening
and finally to the northeast overnight.
