Pockets of freezing rain and freezing drizzle could lead to light ice accumulations and, as a result, slippery travel and surface conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A warm front lifting northward will allow for warmer air to overrun the colder air already in place at the surface. Precipitation will initially begin as a freezing rain/snow mix, transitioning to predominantly snow throughout the daytime hours. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
