...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow and blowing snow possible. Total
  snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches possible. Wind gusts up to 30
  mph possible.

* WHERE...Central Brooks Range.

* WHEN...From Saturday evening through Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds could lead
  to areas of blowing snow which could significantly reduce
  visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...An unseasonably strong arctic trough will
  pass over the North Slope and Brooks Range this weekend into the
  start of next week. Widespread light snow is expected across the
  Arctic Coast and Arctic Plains, with heaviest totals in the Brooks
  Range. Winds will be strongest over Atigun Pass, where gusts up to
  30 mph are expected. Heaviest snow accumulations are expected
  Sunday and Monday, particularly along the Dalton Highway from
  Chandalar Shelf over Atigun Pass to Toolik Lake and Ice Cut Hill.
  Locally higher totals are expected above pass level.
