Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Low pressure will move NE along a stationary front over the outer mid-Atlantic waters, passing S and E of Georges Bank later today into Wed night. Weak high pressure will then return behind the low and remain in place later Wed into Thu. The high will shift E of the area late Thu into Thu night as a warm front lifts N into the region Fri and Fri night.
