.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Low pressure will pass NE of
the region tonight while gradually strengthening and pulling a
strong cold front SE across the waters, followed by a low
pressure trough. The area of low pressure will intensify E of
the area Wed into Thu while pulling a series of low pressure
troughs or secondary reinforcing cold fronts over the waters. A
high pressure ridge will build E over the area later Wed night
and Thu, then shift E of the area and notably weaker Thu night
into Fri as another low develops well S and SE of the area. A
weak cold front will move across the waters later Thu night into
Fri. Another high pressure area will move rapidly E over the
waters later Fri into Fri night as the next strong cold front
approaches from the W. The cold front will approach the coast by
late Sat, before moving E and SE over the waters Sat night into
Sun as low pressure develops and moves NE along the front. The
front will pass E and SE of the waters late Sun as another low
forms along the front to the S of the region. The low will pass E
of the waters Sun night as strong arctic high pressure builds SE
towards the waters from the central areas of the country.
