Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. A cold front will move S over the waters later tonight into Tue. Another high will build SE across the waters Tue afternoon into Tue night, then gradually shift SE of the area later Tue night into Wed night. A broad low pressure area will develop SW of the area Tue into Wed over the Mid-Atlantic states, with an associated warm front lifting N and approaching the southern portions Thu. Both the low and warm front will lift NE across the waters Thu night into Fri while weakening.
