Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms. A cold front will move over the N portion later Fri night into Sat, then stall across the central and northern waters Sat night into Sun as low pressure forms along the boundary. The strengthening low will move N of the area Sun night while lifting the front N of the waters.
