beyond 60 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure just S of Nantucket
Island, Massachusetts this evening will slowly move NE near the
coast early tonight while weakening, then cross the Gulf of Maine
later tonight into Tue before moving NE of the waters Tue night.
A weak high pressure ridge will extend W over the S waters
tonight, then expand across the rest of the region Tue through
Wed night. A high pressure center will form over the central and
S waters Wed and Wed night, then drift E of the region Thu
through Sat night while maintaining a ridge across the S portion.
A cold front will move over the N portion Fri night into Sat,
then stall Sat night.
