Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than twice the significant wave height. AMZ001-300315- Synopsis for Caribbean Sea, and Tropical N Atlantic from 07N to 19N W of 55W 1107 AM EDT Fri Aug 29 2025 .SYNOPSIS...Atlantic high pressure combined with the Colombian low will maintain fresh to strong trades along with moderate to rough seas across much of the central Caribbean through early next week. The coverage of these winds is forecast to shrink by Sat. Numerous thunderstorms in the southeastern Caribbean are not presently associated with a tropical wave, but are expected to persist into Sat, at which time a tropical wave will approach the Lesser Antilles and the eastern Caribbean.
