of 55W including Bahamas.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average

Synopsis for the SW N Atlantic including the Bahamas

.SYNOPSIS...An upper level trough over the southeastern United
States along with a couple of surface troughs is resulting
in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, mainly
north of 25N west of 70W. Looking ahead, a cold front is forecast
to reach the waters off NE Florida today, then stall and remain
nearly stationary through Sun extending from near Bermuda to
northern Florida. Moderate to fresh northeast winds along with
moderate seas are expected in the wake of the front by Sun. The
Atlantic ridge will dominate the remainder of the forecast region
producing a gentle to moderate anticyclonic flow.
