830 AGUS74 KWCO 122000 HMDNWC National Hydrologic Discussion - EXPERIMENTAL NWS National Water Center - Tuscaloosa AL 200 PM CST WED NOV 12 2025 ...Localized flooding possible for California late Thursday into the weekend... .California... Locally heavy rainfall over portions of northwestern California will bring the potential for urban flooding this evening and tonight. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall will be possible late Thursday into the weekend over coastal regions of California. In general, antecedent conditions over the area will mitigate non-urban flooding. However, localized heavy rain rates may periodically overwhelm soils, resulting in runoff and rises on local streams. Additionally, heavy rainfall near recent burn scars will result in flash flooding and debris flows. .Arizona... The same weather system that is impacting California starting late Thursday will shift eastward into Arizona, bringing a period of moderate to locally heavy rainfall to the area. The focus of the rainfall (and any hydrologic impacts) will mostly be on the Mogollon Rim on Saturday and Sunday. Snow is mainly expected at the higher elevations, and any potential hydrologic impacts are mainly going to be urban and small stream in nature. The inclusion on the FHO is not warranted at this time, but trends will be monitored. Additional National Water Center products are available at www.weather.gov/owp/operations //GKendrick $$
