Missouri...Nebraska...Iowa...

  Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties.

  Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha
  Counties.

  Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties.

  Missouri River At Omaha affecting Sarpy, Douglas and
  Pottawattamie Counties.

  Missouri River Near Blair affecting Harrison, Washington and
  Pottawattamie Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Missouri River at Decatur.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, Extensive flooding along the reach would
  be encountered. Areas impacted will include Marina Drive as well
  as numerous homes along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 37.2 feet...or 2.2 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 37.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.2
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
    tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Though not in danger of flooding yet,
  flood preparations begin for critical facilities along this
  portion of the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.9 feet...or 1.9 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 19.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2
    feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood
    stage late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, A portion of the federal levee along the
  Missouri side will be near overtopping. If overtopped this
  flooding will impact a significant portion of Interstate 29 and
  Highway 136.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 34.6 feet...or 0.6 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 34.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 42.4
    feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    late Monday evening.
  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

  just north of Interstate 480. Low lying roads are also affected
  just east of Riverfront Drive north of the pedestrian bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.5 feet...or 1.5 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 28.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.4
    feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Missouri River near Blair.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 33.5 feet, Water reaches levels not seen since the
  flood of 1952.  Major flooding will be occurring from Blair to
  Fort Calhoun.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 29.0 feet...or 2.5 feet
    above flood stage.
  - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24
    hours was 29.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.8
    feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    Saturday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 26.5 feet.
