.DISCUSSION...
Warm temperatures and relative humidity values that bottom out in
the 35-45% range are expected this afternoon, in addition to a few
isolated-to-scattered showers late this afternoon into the
evening. Winds should start out the day gusty and out of the
southeast at 30-40 mph, before a wind shift moves through
northeast Nebraska beginning 4 PM before arriving to eastern
Nebraska and Iowa later in the evening with similar gusts.
The wind shift could catch those who are burning and taking
advantage of good smoke dispersal off-guard. Winds will be
northerly overnight before becoming increasingly northeasterly
tomorrow afternoon with another batch of showers moving in from
the southwest late Monday afternoon.
