.DISCUSSION...
Low fire danger today. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will
move across the area Monday morning. A warm front lifts north
through the region early this afternoon allowing temperatures to
warm into the 80s. RH dips to 55-75% for most of the area. Winds
will be strong. South to southeast winds may gust to between 30-40
mph this afternoon. Another round of showers and thunderstorms
develops this evening. Rain chances will linger into the overnight
hours. Significant wetting rains are likely for portions of the
area, especially across western Iowa.
A cold front pushes through the area tonight. Below normal
temperatures return on Tuesday. Continued widespread showers and
thunderstorms are expected. Additional significant rainfall will
be possible. Rain chances continue through the end of this week.
